EviNor system is an extraordinary, sophisticated information system dealing with theme of standards, which has been proven in practice and which is extraordinary with its focus, complexity, contents completeness and with many other useful features such as  searching similar standards of foreign countries, EC directives and  Government Regulations of the Czech Republic. Open system is determined particularly for rationalization and precising of work in technical standardization departments. It serves not only for registering of national and company standards, but also for registering of foreign and international standards. The system enables easy and precise management of standards in terms of  ISO 9000 and similar provisions.

If you own files of standards in electronic version in pdf or doc format, you can display the standards in full. You will get information on existence of actual and historical (cancelled) standards, you may keep register of  standards warehouse,  lending agenda and ordering service.

In special library you may keep register of documents issued by your company, which are related to technical standards and their users and the contents of which may be affected by changes of these standard. These are e.g. company regulations, catalogues, drawings, etc. Of course, searching all system libraries according to various keys is possible. Users appreciate searching according to title words entered in random order and creation of printed reports from items pursuant to individual needs of each user.

System purchasing means that you will get much information, accurate register of technical standards and their users and you will replace manual processing with sophisticated computer system.

EviNor is open database system which contains:

• Catalogues of standards with bibliographic information on technical standards (it is usually delivered with catalogues of  ČSN, STN, ASTM, ASME, ETSI, IEC, ISO/IEC and EN standards)

• Register of borrowed standards in the organization
• Register of  standards orders
• Register of documents
• Register of updates
• Other auxiliary registers

Regular Updates:

We regularly update the delivered databases and executive program monthly. We use Internet network for transmission of update data. During update the user is informed which standards of his/her company (related to individual lending points) have been changed and cancelled. You may automatically order substitutes for the cancelled standards and the new changes. We deal with the administrative matter of update by the form of annual subscription. There is an advantage for you, as you are user, that we will prepare update data for you and we will solve your requirements for modification of executive program by the form of update.

Technical, Installation and Licence Conditions:

The system is determined for environment of MS Windows operation systems. CLIENT / SERVER architecture was used as solution basis with data administration through MS SQL Server or MSDE. Thus EviNor system may work within local as well as network employment. So-called "floating licence" is used in network employment, which means that system may be installed in any number of network sites and at the given moment it is executable in the number corresponding to the purchased number of licences. Data protection is secured by access rights and passwords assigned individually to each user. Each user can select language environment in Czech, Slovak, German or English.

Hardware Requirements:

• computer with processor Pentium 166 MHz or higher
• operation system Microsoft Windows 95 and higher
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 including Service Pack 2 or higher
• 32 MB memory (recommended 64 MB)
• with MSDE - 235 MB free disk space (30 MB EviNor application + 55 MB MSDE + 150 MB data)
• without MSDE - 30 MB free disk space

Real requirements may differ depending on system configuration and parameters selected during installation.
